Wow! What a magical night!
We would like to thank our exceptional community
who together made this night a huge success:
the remarkable speakers,
our extraordinary alumni,
the outstanding grandparents,
the committed parents, alumni parents,
and our dedicated donors.
More than 200 guests filled the room with support, love, and commitment for Wornick Jewish Day School's Acharai - Choosing Leadership Gala. We raised over $200,000 that will directly support our students in their educational and leadership journeys.
TOGETHER WE DID IT!
More than 250 guests came together to celebrate Wornick Jewish Day School's 36th anniversary. 200+ pieces of student work were presented beautifully around the school, stories of 36 inspiring individuals were told to recognize those who have sustained our community, 2 outstanding honorees were recognized, and over $236,000 was raised to directly support our students and the leaders they will become!
Student Project Based Learning (PBL) exhibits throughout the school halls were presented to our guests. PBL is distinguished by driving questions that have multiple answers, student voice and choice throughout the project, sustained building of questions and inquiry, and a public, authentic end product.
Friends, Food, and Fun :)
