Wornick encourages athletic participation from all students - encompassing more than just the physical needs of the student athletes, but also providing each child with an emotionally safe environment that challenges each individual to succeed. We understand how to combine the ingredients of a healthy spirit and body with a healthy dose of sportsmanship and self-esteem and these are the cornerstones of the Wornick program. Each child will emerge from the Wornick Physical Education and After School Sports Programs with a better understanding of who they are, and who they can be, while learning how to be a team player in society.

Small School Intermediate League

Wornick Jewish Day School has been a proud member of the Small School Intermediate League (SSIL) since 2002. We have competed in multiple team championship playoffs in many sports, giving our students opportunities to interact with other students in competition, in supporting their team, and learning good sportsmanship.
