Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School is an independent, coeducational Jewish day school serving students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Open to all applicants, Wornick combines academic excellence, innovative teaching, and a strong sense of community to help every student thrive.

At Wornick, academics are at the heart of the student experience. Our challenging, engaging academic program is designed to develop curious, capable, and confident learners who think critically, make meaningful connections, and apply their knowledge in the classroom and beyond.

Through joyful, dynamic project-based learning, students engage deeply with academic content while developing essential skills for success in high school, college, and beyond. Rather than simply seeking answers, Wornick students are encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, explore complex ideas, make connections across disciplines, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Our teachers know each student as an individual and provide differentiated learning opportunities that challenge and support learners. Hebrew language and Jewish Studies are core academic subjects at every grade level, enriching our curriculum and giving students opportunities to develop language skills, cultural understanding, and a meaningful connection to Jewish life and values.

Wornick's academic program extends beyond traditional classroom learning. Technology, athletics, music, visual arts, and public speaking provide students with opportunities to discover new interests and strengths while reinforcing collaboration, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
