I never thought a Jewish education would help me in a secular school, but I was beyond wrong. The analytical skills I developed through studying Torah and Jewish Studies translated perfectly to in-depth literary analysis skills which I used in various classes for the rest of my academic career.

The small class sizes and one-on-one guidance I received from teachers at Wornick helped to develop my communication and interpersonal skills. In high school and college, I was never afraid or hesitant to ask my teachers for clarification or extra help (to my surprise, my classmates were). That was the key to my academic success, hands down. Lauren N., class of 2010, Menlo High School, Loyola Marymount University Graduate, M-School Institute of Marketing
Being a student at Wornick has shaped who I am today. Having a supportive and inclusive environment at such a young age molded my character and prioritized the development of my character. Being immersed in a community that has strong roots in Jewish values and ethics, instilled positive behaviors that I still act upon today, such as my inseparable connection to Israel, Jewish life, and a desire to be a leader.

The small environment allowed me to grow my confidence and communication skills with teachers which set me apart from my peers in high school and college. I also have the honor of saying that I am still close friends with many of my peers from Wornick whom I first met in kindergarten.

Academically, Wornick taught me how to think critically, which was evident in the way my teachers approached learning in a wide array of fields. Critical thinking is the most valuable skills that one can have going into high school, college, and the work force.Phillip Y., class of 2012, Kehillah Jewish High School, Wake Forest University senior
My Wornick education began in fourth grade as a transfer student. From that point, I was given several opportunities for growth in areas that would have otherwise been untouched at a larger school. Areas such as critical thinking, participation in varsity athletics, and public speaking, all of which have been essential to my high school, college, and work experiences. Ian U., class of 2011, Jewish Community High School of the Bay, Bard College graduate, Air Force reserves
The Wornick education has shown me the importance of creating community in the academic space. The ability to connect with teachers, collaborate with students, and learn outside of the classroom (especially during the 8th grade Israel trip) is because of my Wornick experience. Sophie R., class of 2011, Aragon High School, Chapman UNIVERSITY GRADUATE
My Wornick education allowed me to grow in the safety of a community that valued each individual, empowering me to pursue my goals in high school and college with confidence, and more importantly, with good values and morals that I developed in my 9 years at Wornick Dalia J., class of 2011, Sequoia High School, IB Program, Northwestern University GRADUATE, School of Journalism
