Welcome to the Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, where joyful and engaged learning is evident everywhere.
This is an environment where passionate educators inspire critical thinking, leadership opportunities and the Jewish value of repairing the world. Learning spills out of the classroom. It continues past the school day, when older students continue to collaborate on virtual discussions and projects and younger children excitedly share new discoveries with their families.
Our program emphasizes complex problem solving while engaging the ethical implications of real-world problems and their solutions. Students are taught to be reflective, to give and to accept constructive criticism, to learn from mistakes and to communicate in compassionate and compelling ways. This interdisciplinary, problem-solving curriculum, linked to Jewish values and a myriad of opportunities to “take charge,” develops strong leaders and capable, resilient students.
Wornick alumni are outstanding contributors to their high schools, colleges, professions and communities. Our graduates have robust personal identities, a strong attachment to Israel and Jewish values, and a deep foundation in critical thinking, ethical decision-making and life-long learning. We invite you to learn more and to join our community of inspired learners.
