Mission

Wornick is a thriving community of enthusiastic learners – where everyone – students, teachers, and parents  – is engaged in active lifelong learning. Plan a Visit.

Our extraordinary dual curriculum, pluralist program cultivates four interconnected building blocks within each student:

  1. an impassioned heart,
  2. a cultivated mind,
  3. a nourished soul and
  4. an empowered body.

These building blocks are balanced and curriculum deliberately developed for each child so that he or she may reach his or her full potential. Our graduates are known as thoughtful, articulate and involved adults with a joyous love of Judaism.

Wornick delivers a rigorous secular education and inspiring Jewish spiritual education.  Study and love of Israel weaves across both of our curriculums.  From our third grade exploration of landforms in the Bay Area and in Israel to our Middle School study of democracy in the United States and Israel, Wornick fosters love of Israel throughout our school.

We believe that the creation of the State of Israel is one of the seminal events in Jewish history. Recognizing the significance of the State and its national institutions, we seek to instill in our students an attachment to the State of Israel and its people as well as a sense of responsibility for their welfare. Our connection to Israel encourages multi-cultural insights, social responsibility and critical thinking among our students.
