Cash, Check or Credit Card
Write a check, use your VISA or MasterCard and receive a full tax deduction. Please make checks payable to Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School and mail the gift directly to:

Pledges
Pledges to Wornick may be paid through a single contribution or in multiple payments, at scheduled times that are convenient for you. Contributions paid by December 31 are eligible for current-year tax benefits. Chai Excellence Fund pledges are due in full by June 30 of the year in which the gift was pledged.

Stock and Securities
If you hold securities that would incur a tax on capital gains if sold, your outright gift to Wornick could mean significant savings. You obtain a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the gift, and you may avoid a tax on the increase in value. Match Your Gift
 Many companies have employer matching gift programs as a benefit to employees, whereby the donor submits documentation to the employer of a gift to Wornick, and the company matches the funds.  Companies will double or even triple their employees’ donations. This is an easy way to increase the size of your own gift to Wornick; all matching support is credited to you. Your human resources office can advise you if your company has such a program.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts
Wornick gratefully recognizes gifts made in memory or in honor of friends, family or faculty members, or to acknowledge a birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, graduation or other significant life cycle event. A card acknowledging your thoughtful gift will be sent by Wornick to your honoree or the family of the memorialized at your request; the amount of the gift will not be disclosed.

Car Donations
Donate your car to Wornick and receive a tax deduction.  Car donations to Wornick are made through Bizzarro’s Auto Auction, Redwood City. They provide free towing and handle IRS and DMV paperwork.  Call today 1-800-677-1744.

eScrip
Earn money for Wornick  at no cost to you by signing up at eScrip.com. eScrip is a fundraising program that allows participating merchants to contribute up to 10% of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to Wornick. Click here for more information.

 Wornick is proud to partner with a new organization called Shopping for a Change - (www.shoppingforachange.org). Working abroad with underdeveloped nations, the Shopping for a Change business model empowers talented artisans and their impoverished communities, with means to transform their standards of living in economically sustainable ways. Planned Giving
We thank donors who have remembered Wornick by bequest in their estate plans or who have made a life income gift or other type of planned gift.
