Computer Technology

As part of our Technology curriculum, the Wornick 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade and middle school classes were given some background information about the recent catastrophic events in Haiti. They were told of the Haitian people's suffering and of their desperate circumstances. But they were also told of the heroic efforts of the Israeli government to rapidly establish a field hospital on the ground in Haiti. They were then asked to use their laptops to write and save a letter of hope, sympathy and/or support to either the people of Haiti or the members of the Israeli Defense Forces. 

We are so very proud of their efforts, of their compassion and of our community for fostering these values in these young people.
