PUBLISHING GRADES ONLINE

Note: In order to do this, Matt will need to configure your copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver.

STEP 1: ENTER PASSWORDS INTO EGP

1. Start EGP and open your grade book
2. Double click a student’s name on left hand side
3. In the password section of the window, assign the student a password.
• The recommended password for each student is his/her iBook Serial Number.  For a list of Serial Numbers, please email matt@wornickjds.org



4. Click on Next Student
5. Repeat Steps 3-5 until every student is assigned a password

STEP 2: GENERATING THE INTERNET REPORT

1. In EGP, go to the class you would like to publish grades for
2. Click on the File menu and choose Internet
3. From the window that pops up, choose Single Class Website Report
4. Make sure the button next to current class only is selected



5. Click Create
6. Choose Yes
7. Navigate to your Grades folder (the one we will upload to the Internet)
• For Math teachers, this is located in Site -> <your math class> -> Grades
8. Click Save … then Replace
   

STEP 3: UPLOADING THE GRADES TO THE INTERNET

1. Start Macromedia Dreamweaver
2. In the folder list on the right, click on the Grades folder



3. Click on the Site menu and choose Put
4. When it is finished, quit Dreamweaver

STEP 4: VERIFY

1. Visit your website
2. Visit the grades section
3. Attempt to login with one of the student’s last name and password
