I will be collecting everyone’s laptop on Friday for storage. If there is something you would like access to over the break, I suggest you burn it to a CD. Your computers WILL NOT be erased.
If you are leaving before Friday, you need to turn in your laptop to either a) me, b) Mrs. Lewin, or c) your home room teacher.

Parent/Teacher Conference Sign Ups Online
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE EMAIL FOR COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS
We have taken another step forward in the technology realm this year by putting our Parent/Teacher Conference scheduling online. We will be unveiling this to the entire school tomorrow morning.
However, as a courtesy to middle school parents, we are allowing you access to system starting today. Since most of you have already scheduled a conference on paper (which has been input online for you) and since many of you have siblings in the lower grades, we would like to invite you to sign up for conferences in the lower school that coincide with the conferences you have already signed up for.
Special Notes and Reminders:
- Conferences can be scheduled online from 12:00 am October 26th to 11:59 pm November 6.
- When logging in, use the student’s mother’s email address.
- Your initial password is "wornick" (all lowercase).
- Kindergarten students will not be able to schedule conferences online. Conferences must be scheduled in person with the Kindergarten teachers.
- If you have any problems, call Barbra Losel at (650) 378-2602.

Computers are out the door...thanks.
This afternoon I gave the students their laptops. Needless to say, there was a bit of excitement in the air.
And for the first time since we began this laptop program every single family sent a parent to the tech orientation on the first night. So there is no need to hold an alternate orientation.
So, I want to thank all you for a) coming to the technology orientation last night and b) being so patient while we waited for the batteries from Apple.

Tech Orientation
Our annual Technology orientation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 5:15 pm in the Ulam Gadol.
Our tech orientation is an integral part of our technology program and the laptop use in and out of school. We will be covering procedures, policies, and requirements for both students and parents. One parent it required to attend the orientation. At the orientation, parents will receive documents that will need to be signed and returned the next day.
As with years past, students cannot take their laptops home until one of their parents has attended an orientation and signed all the paperwork.
