School is over.  This has been a very productive and exciting year.  The things we accomplished were amazing...But better yet, I have already started to work on next year and it is going to be even better.

On a special note, it really touched my heart how well received the 8th grade video was.  They poured so much into that and it just turned out so well.  Good luck guys and gal in the years to come.

Movie...working on the movie...ask about the movie...thinking about the movie...it is all consuming.

Kindergarten: No Class

1st Grade: We talked about navigating the internet again.  We searched for information on yahooligans.com using their search engine.  We talked about results, total results, and going to results.  Then the students searched for live web cams of animals.  Lastly, the students searched for Jokes to tell the class.

2nd Grade: We continued to talk about the operating system.  This time we talked about Folders, Files, and the Trash Can.  Students learned how to organize data by creating folders.  They learned about moving icons and highlighting multiple icons.  We also talked about the Trash Can and how it is used to delete items (permanently) from the hard drive.

3rd Grade: No Class

4th Grade: We talked about the operating system.  We talked about applications and how to navigate them, as well as starting and shutting them down.  We talked about folders and files and organizing data.  We also talked about the Trash Can.  Lastly, we talked about the accounts the students will be receiving on the computers next year.
