PTO volunteers coordinate a Hot Lunch program for the children. Participation in Hot Lunch is optional, and we try to keep the cost reasonable. You sign up and pay for Hot Lunch quarterly. Flyers come out in the Pupils’ Express. Parent volunteers coordinate the menu, serve the food and work hard to make it nutritious and creative. Please feel free to volunteer for this important program. It’s fun for parents and the children love to see them in the middle of the day. Menu:*All days include vegetable, fruit and water. Chocolate milk will be sold for $1.00 everyday except Wednesday. Orange juice will be sold for $1.00 everyday. Monday: Pasta day, noodles, whole wheat noodles, marinara sauce, cheese, vegetable, and fruit ($5.00) Tuesday: Matzo Ball soup, egg salad, tuna salad, green salad, rolls, vegetables, and fruit ($5.00) Wednesday: Chicken drumsticks, potatoes fries (baked), vegetables, and fruit ($6.50) Thursday: Pizza, (vegetable, cheese or olive), vegetable, fruit and milk ($5.00) Friday: Quesadillas and Grilled Cheese, Veggies and Fruit.
