Todah and Mazel Tov

  • What a terrific year! Thank you to every student, parent, teacher and community member who participated in each and every way to make our school such a special place. We are so lucky to have you involved!

  • Thank you to all of the 2014-2015 Chai Excellence Fund and Feast Your Mind donors this year!

  • Mazel Tov to Jason R., Jacob C., Simon T., Ben L., and Daniel S. who will become B'nai Mitzvah this summer!

  • Dr. Gereboff’s Head Notes - Change verses Transition
Less than 4 months ago – I had the chance to really get to know you on our trip to Israel. I mean really get to know the important things – the music, the games...who sleeps on bus rides, and who doesn’t, the food likes and dislikes...the questioners, the complainers – not too much of that actually. This was a chance to see a group of students who had become the young adults we always promise in our mission statement...

Wornick To-Do List

  • Have a great summer!
We look forward to seeing everyone back at Wornick on Tuesday, August 25 for the first day of school. During summer we will be sending you information regarding the 2015-2016 academic school year via mail and email. Please make sure that if you are moving or changing your contact information this summer that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can ensure you receive any pertinent information to the start of the school year in time. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the office at info@wornickjds.org.

  • 2015-2016 At a Glance Calendar
Please click here to view the draft calendar for the 2015-2016 Academic Year. Please note that as we plan more of the coming year, we will be updating the Google calendar and we will also have revisions sent home with the summer packets.

  • Hot Lunch Servers and Subs
As some of the hardest working volunteers at the school, we want you to all know how much we appreciate your time and dedication to helping serve lunch for the kids. It is often a challenge to keep up a year long commitment and that is where all our subs come in...you have all gone above and beyond and we notice! If you have not served in the past and want to give it a try, please email me anytime and you can sub or become a regular. Have a fabulous Summer!!!

  • Library is Closed for the Summer!
Parents and caregivers, please help your student find and return all of their library books. If you have overdue books, you have already received a notice by email from the library with the replacement cost. As always, the school would much prefer to have the books returned than for you to have to pay for new ones. The school building is open all summer and books can be dropped off at anytime. Thank you.

  • Celebrating Simchas with "People of the Book"
Celebrate a simcha of a Wornick child by supporting the Library and recognizing the child! Birthdays, births, Bar and Bat Mitzvot, graduations — anything! Click here for the flyer with more information, and download the order form here. Questions? Contact Robin Will at library@wornickjds.org or (650) 378-2617.

  • Wornick Logo Wear at Lands' End!
Wornick logo wear and PE clothes can be ordered at Lands' End through their school uniform program. Click here to get started. After choosing an item from our school's customized shopping page, use the "Logo Preference" option to select a Wornick logo to be added to your item.

Seen @Wornick this week: End of year in electives, 5th grade promotion ceremony, 8th grade graduation, Kindergarten promotion, and closing assembly of the year with classes performing and moving up to the next grade!

Congratulations Class of 2015!
