As part of our Technology curriculum, the Wornick students were given some background information about the recent catastrophic events in Haiti. They were told of the people's suffering and of their desperate circumstances. But they were also told of the heroic efforts of the Israel Defense Forces to establish a field hospital on the ground in Haiti. They were then asked to use the school's laptops to write and save a letter of sympathy and support to either the people of Haiti or the members of the Israeli Defense Forces. We are so very proud of their efforts, of their compassion and of our community for fostering these values in these young people.
