Since tuition does not cover the actual cost of a Wornick education, the school seeks voluntary charitable gifts to fulfill the mission and provide the high quality programs that are a hallmark of the school. In order to continue to maintain the uniqueness of Wornick, we ask parents, school board members and community members to contribute to the school in many ways. Wornick Jewish Day School is a beneficiary of the Jewish Community Federation and has received grant funding from the Bureau of Jewish education and the Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education.
eScrip
eScrip is a simple, no cost way to support our school throughout the year. In a five minute on-line process you register your grocery loyalty card (ie. Safeway, PW Market, etc), listing the Wornick Jewish Day School (JDSNP) as your eScrip beneficiary. In addition, you can register your credit cards and your debit/ATM cards. Then, when you shop at a participating merchant using one of the registered cards, up to 10% of your purchase is automatically contributed to our school at no cost to you!! Just visit www.escrip.com to get started. It’s that easy!!
If you are one of the many families who have already registered with eScrip, thank you!! If you are not already registered, please do so soon. We are looking for full participation this year with a commitment from each family of $1,800 in purchases. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you can start having your regular, everyday purchases contributing to our school! Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf! Encourage your friends and extended family to sign up also and have them list JDSNP - Group 137612246, as their beneficiary organization.
