Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School educates the future leaders and ambassadors of the Jewish people and creates an active Jewish neighborhood in the North Peninsula Bay Area. 

Wornick’s innovative curriculum focuses on leadership education, rigorous and differentiated academics and the development of strong Jewish identities.   Our secular academics focus on critical thinking, public speaking and intellectual challenge. Wornick’s Jewish education focuses on community service, ethical living and commitment to Israel in addition to Hebrew fluency and Torah study.  The result is that Wornick alumni learn to love learning and are very successful in high school and college – for example, over 90% of Wornick alumni take honors and Advanced Placement classes in high school.

Our exceptional secular and Jewish education is available to any child whose family desires it.  We rely upon the generosity of our donors to offer scholarships to up to 50% of our families.  These scholarships ensure the future of the Jewish community and the ongoing connection of Jewish children to Israel, regardless of financial resources.

eScrip

eScrip is a simple, no cost way to support our school throughout the year. In a quick on-line process you register your grocery loyalty card (ie. Safeway, PW Market, etc), listing the Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School (RCWJDS) as your eScrip beneficiary. In addition, you can register your credit cards and your debit/ATM cards. Then, when you shop at a participating merchant using one of the registered cards, up to 10% of your purchase is automatically contributed to our school at no cost to you!! Just visit www.escrip.com to get started. It’s that easy!!

If you are one of the many families who have already registered with eScrip, thank you!! If you are not already registered, please do so soon. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you can start having your regular, everyday purchases contributing to our school! Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf. If you are already using eScrip to support another school or organization, you can still add the Wornick JDS to your account, and your contributions will be split equally among the groups you have selected. When shopping online, be sure to start by going to the eScrip Online Mall. Through this website, you can access many popular online merchants such as Amazon, Best Buy, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Toys R Us. And by using the eScrip Online Mall instead of going directly to the merchant’s website, our school will earn a percentage of your purchase amount.
