The Wornick Development Committee needs your help!
We're looking for a few new committee members to help grow and strengthen Wornick. You love the school, now you can have an active role in building for the future (and get Chai hours!). The committee engages in strategic planning, solicitation, targeting and ranking prospective donors, acting as liaisons between the School and supporting individuals and/or corporations, as well as identifying specific ways to market key opportunities to the community. That's a lot, but you can do as much as you feel you can take on. Every little bit helps! Contact Roger Feigelson at rfeigels@stanfordalumni.org to learn more.

Screenagers - Tuesday, September 27 @ 7:30 p.m.
Wornick will be screening the film, Screenagers: Growing up in the Digital Age, for all parents in the Ulam Gadol on Tuesday, September 27. This documentary explores the impact and risks of screen technology (including cell phones, social media, and games) on kids, as well as offers solutions on how to work with them to achieve a more healthy level of screen time. Middle School students will view this film in school on September 26. In both cases, a dialogue will ensue afterwards to work through ideas and solutions together for successfully managing the amount of time our children spend interacting with digital devices.
