This Week
This week was shortened for parent-teacher conferences, but that didn't stop our Kindergarten through 3rd graders from hobnobbing with musicians from the Israel Chamber Project. Our students enjoyed a private performance and some learning time with the musicians, who were impressed by their knowledge of music and their Hebrew skills. A few children even got the opportunity to conduct the musicians with a remote control! Thanks to the PJCC for making the performers available to our children. Click here for short video from the performance.

Student council has been leading the way to help make school run more efficiently. Their problem solving skills have helped tackle some organizational challenges on campus, including getting the clocks better synchronized and examining the possibility for passing time between classes.

The lunchtime Wornick Bowl football game on Monday enabled our students to show off both their sportsmanship and their athletic abilities. Congratulations to the Patriots on their victory!

Our 8th graders and their teachers returned from Israel on Tuesday morning, tired and full of great stories about their trip. They will be sharing some of their experiences with the rest of the school in the next couple of weeks.

Dr. Gereboff's Head Notes: Forever Young, Forever Learning
There was a time when nearly every independent school’s mission statement included something like “promotes lifelong learning.”  The desire for this is certainly positive. But those of us who sat on accreditation teams during that period of time would roll our eyes when we saw these mission statements.  Read More
