This Week
Who were those mysterious fifth graders pointing iPads at signs all around campus on Tuesday? They were our visitors for Middle School Shadow Day, who took a virtual tour of Wornick that was created by the current sixth grade technology students to help them get acquainted with our school. Our guests used iPads to scan QR codes, which took them to a series of unique videos narrated by our sixth grade.

Our Wornick fifth graders also got a taste of middle school this week, when Mrs. Thornton came by to help them learn how to solve word problems. Fourth graders kicked off their study of the Mission period with a visit from guest speaker Morah Chelsea, who is highly knowledgable in the area of comparative religions, and explained the basics of Catholicism and Christianity.

Eighth graders are learning about healthy relationships, with a workshop by educators from Shalom Bayit, an organization that works to counter domestic violence.

Words of Wisdom

Dr. Gereboff's Head Notes: Cup Half Full, Half Empty or Neither?
