This Week
This was our first full week of school, and it was a busy one!
Our new music program, Myriad Music, started in grades K to 4. From ukuleles to drums, there was rhythm in the air! Rachel debuted her new homemade pizza during hot lunch on Thursday to rave reviews. Dr. Gereboff met with a group of middle school accelerated English students to discuss their summer reading, The Road to Character by David Brooks. And Wornick welcomed our new kindergarteners to the Chavurot program, which brings students of all grades together in small groups for community building activities. First graders built and then tipped over elaborate domino mazes, and sixth graders in the science lab used their team work and engineering skills to rescue a teddy bear from the recycling bin.

New Wornick Website
You may have noticed our beautiful newly-designed Wornick website.  We are busy filling it with more information and photographs, but in the meantime we want you to know where to find some critical information. Words of Wisdom

Dr. Gereboff's Head Notes
On Sunday morning, I learned that Oliver Sacks had died.  Sacks was a neurologist, a writer, and a professor of neurology.  He was known for his published case histories - some were adapted for film and theater.  I came to know him through his essays that appeared in the New Yorker and the New York Times and from his interviews on NPR.  Read More
