The Wornick Players present Annie, Jr. on June 2nd and 3rd at the Hillbarn Theater. Tickets go on sale May 3.
Annie Jr is the story of a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. In fun-filled adventures, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history.
Under the direction of Jackie Edery and Jay Levin, with choreography by Kimberly Krol, Annie Jr features a cast of 20 Jewish Day School performers, ranging in ages from 8-12. The subject matter of the production is appropriate for all ages.
Annie plays Wednesday and Thursday, June 2 and 3. Curtain: 6:30 PM.
The show lasts approximately 2 hours including a 15 minute intermission.
Tickets can be purchased by completing the TICKET ORDER FORM and dropping it off at Wornick's Annie Jr. Drop Box in the school Lobby beginning May 3.
Tickets are $5 each.
All performances of Annie will be at the Hillbarn Theater in Foster City.
