Enrichment Programs

Wornick provides a wide variety of afterschool enrichment activities for all of our students.  Our dedicated afterschool coordinator assembles programs as varied as cooking, martial arts and private music lessons.  Parent suggestions for additional activites are welcome and diligently researched for their educational value and enjoyment.

For the current school year we are offering the following classes:

• Art
• Group and Private Music Lessons (Piano, Guitar)
• Cooking
• Chess
• Spanish
• Circus
• Yoga
• Fencing
• Science Adventures
• Soccer
• Choir
• Drama

Most after-school classes are held between 3:30-5:00pm.

Wornick students also participate in many after-school sports and arts activities at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center adjacent to our school.

Students do not have to be in Gesher in order to participate in our after-school classes, which are conveniently held at Wornick. 

Students also have the option to participate in classes through the PJCC.
