Welcome to the Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School where learning spills out of the classroom into halls and public spaces. Children and adults engage in animated conversations around meaningful work throughout the day. Some conversations continue after school on closed classroom websites.
This is an environment where critical thinking, learning to lead and global awareness inspire impassioned learners. Student learning emphasizes complex problem solving while engaging ethical implications of problems and their solutions. Students learn to be reflective, to give and to accept constructive criticism, to learn from mistakes and to communicate in compassionate ways. This problem-solving curricula linked to Jewish values and a myriad of opportunities to “take charge” develops strong leaders.
Wornick alumni are outstanding contributors to their high schools, colleges, professions and communities. Our graduates have robust identities, a strong attachment to Israel and a deep foundation in critical thinking, ethical decision making and continuous learning. I invite you to visit and to join our community of inspired learners.
